I know Vaude Hogan Is realy big brand in its field, and most of my friend have it, i have use similar product with same brand with out any problem before, but this one was little disapointment.Thanks to amazon.com they were behind their product, replaced item rightaway. Fast and exelent customer service. Good things: I bought this for one person use and the tent is great for backpacking. Super light and easy to pack in three parts (tent, fly, hardware) and set up very fast. The inside is roomy side-to-side for one person and you can put your gear next to you. It really stands up in the wind. I was in the Lake Meade area in a virtual gale. A buddies tent blew away but the Hogan shed everything. Sat out a few nasty rain storms with no leakage or seepage. No condensation when I used it the mountains during three seasons. I never used it for winter camping but it seems like the fly would shed snow with no problem.Could be better: The vestibule is very small, not really big enough for anything but boots and maybe a daypack. But I really can't see how two people could use it. Maybe two women or two kids for sure. |
